Why The Same False Eyelash Glue May Have Different Glue Viscosity In Different Batches

Recently, a customer feedback when sticking false eyelashes: I bought the same false eyelash glue but the glue has a different viscosity. I suspect that there is a problem with the quality of the glue. Let me explain to everyone below:

Production reason:

1. Gravity influence: In the process of glue production, the machine stirs the glue up and down. Due to the gravity problem, the heavier macromolecules will sink and the lighter ones will be on top, so it is impossible to absolutely stir evenly. Normally it is above. The glue will be thinner, and the glue underneath will be thicker.

2. Air volatilization: In the process of packing the glue, the viscosity of the first glue from the bottom will be slightly larger, and then gradually become smaller in the middle. Finally, the viscosity of the glue on the top will become larger due to the influence of air volatilization. a little.

——So even the same batch of glue, the viscosity will be different, let alone different batches. However, under normal circumstances, the viscosity of the glue during production will be sampled and controlled to the middle value within the standard range.

External reasons:

1. Temperature change: Glue is active. If the temperature is high, its activity will be greater and its viscosity will become thinner; on the contrary, if the temperature is low, its viscosity will become thicker.

2. Placement time: Glue is formed by emulsification, which is an unstable liquid. The viscosity of glue will increase with the placement time. The longer it is placed, the thicker the viscosity will be.

So, the viscosity of the glue is not fixed, but fluctuates between a standard value, but it will not affect the performance, but it is recommended to follow the "first-in-first-use" principle when storing.

Regardless of the reasons in the production process or the influence of the external environment in the later period, the viscosity of the glue is never fixed. If the temperature is low after leaving the factory, its viscosity will become thicker, otherwise, it will become thinner. In addition, the longer it is left, its viscosity will become thicker and thicker, and it will be more obvious in cold weather. Therefore, from autumn to winter, the phenomenon that this batch is thinner than the previous batch is the easiest to see; hot weather will have a mutually resisting effect. So the changes will be smaller. All in all, the viscosity of different batches of glue will be different. When using the glue, you may feel a little thinner or thicker, but this is not a quality problem. The performance of the glue is still the same, so you can continue to use it with confidence.
